I was spending about $1000 in a month on alcohol a year ago, I cut it down to a 30 pack per weekend so now I'm only spending about $120 a month while still getting my vice fix. Once you stop going to bars and buying expensive drinks for yourself and everyone around you while your intoxicated you will save an insane amount of money. Drink cheap beers before you go out and only buy one or two drinks at the bar if you have to go. Huge difference

Wow, really happy for you! That can definitely be a MASSIVE money drain; even in college I saw people just throwing money away. Sounds like you've made some healthier changes for yourself and your wallet!

Great advice here. The only thing I'd avoid saving on is the microphone clip. :)

😂 I'm trying to find a better mic soon! Not an audio guy though lol

how do you only spend 150 a month on food?

This seems to be the one that surprises people the most, so I'm making a whole video on it (I do have a video but it's not very good lol) But short answer is meal prep and eating a lot of eggs and rice

You can buy an entire cow for 1000 with butcher fee it would be like 300. Bam food for an entire year.

@@RunningonFIRE Eating a lot of eggs and rice feels a excessively extreme. Dont get me wrong I love me some eggs and rice and cheap ramen but eating is its own simple pleasure.

@@SamLee-e3b I don't think an entire cow would feed me for a year 😅

@@andreapayneconnally390 yeah I know some people that can't eat the same meal twice in a row. I personally don't mind and I like the routine. It's just as much about saving time as it is about money. But yeah, not for everyone 😅
