The tongs you can get for the self watering trays from gardeners supply are totally worth it. I was the mini shovel girl for a few years. This year I picked up a set of the tongs during a dreary, snowy day. (Gardeners has a location steps away from the hospital I was contracted at....blessing and a curse😂😂) Those tongs!!! Whoa. Makes it sooo easy to pull out seedling starts. Especially..if they have been in there just a smidge too long. Highly recommend!

I can't believe it's this time of year. My strawberries, in my raised beds, are really growing like crazy. I would love to have a bed of foxglove but didn't think I could afford it. I will try to start them from seed next year.

Our strawberries are waking up too! Yes - try growing them from seed. You'll save so much money!

Hi Pam! We use Espoma Grow/Indoor Liquid Fertilizer. Start at half strength and then move to full strength after 2-3 weeks. The plants will thank you for it!
