My husband bought me a fire HD 10 this year for Christmas by the time I spent two or three days with it I was packing it up back in the box to take it back and get myself a normal Android tablet I was furious that I could not get my Google stuff! My husband who is the level-headed one went on KZbin and started looking at videos that described ways that I could have my Google stuff. I spent the better part of a morning watching videos and finding that most people really didn't know what they were talking about. However this gentleman in this tutorial video really has his head on straight he describes everything with specific detail and in the most simplified terms possible absolutely amazing thank you so much I have all my Google stuff and I can keep my tablet now!

The first step doesn't seem to work because the " Apps from unknown sources" doesn't have a sliding on\off feature as shown in the video. When selected I'm shown three apps already installed and asked whether or not I'd like to give them permission - individually. If you are having trouble downloading the last file, look at the name, if it says bundle you have chosen the wrong one. It must say APK

Am not 💯 sure. But I don’t think it uses much space. Your device will let you know if there is an issue and you can always add more storage!

Thank you so much! Was hoping to install a few apps on google play. The only thing I ran into was that in the last download I clicked the top option and it gave me the “problem parsing the package” message. I fixed this by looking up my firetablet and seeing what android version it is, then choosing a download comparable. Once again, thank you for the video. I’ve been going through a lot of videos but this one explained it very well and saved me lots of frustration.

I was at a loss on how to get this done on two Fire HD's 10, 7th and 9th generation. Looked at several other videos and they went so fast and also didn't walk us thru the links and more. This was just amazing! (and have to add I spent days figuring out that Amazon doesn't support just about anything :). ... many many thanks!!

I wanted to get GooglePlay so I could use the tablet for Xfinity's security camera so was really happy to get the 9th generation going (7th gen. is too old for that), and really glad it's working now instead of the tiny iPhone screen.
