About this video: Pixelmon is a truly incredible Minecraft modpack that brings Pokemon to Minecraft. It features hundreds of different Pixelmon to choose from, and you use your Pixelmon to battle, trade, and breed other Pixelmon. Pixelmon also adds in like Poke Balls, apricorns, bauxite ore, and even new decorative blocks that you can use to customize and change your builds.
So let’s jump right into how to download Pixelmon for Minecraft. In order to the Pixelmon modpack, you will need to download the CurseForge App. This app will let you easily install Pixelmon without having to download all of the different mods that make up the Pixelmon Modpack.
There is a link in the description above that will take you to our complete guide on getting CurseForge for Pixelmon. On that page, click the “Download CurseForge” to go to the official CurseForge download page.
On this page, click the “Download Standalone” button to start downloading CurseForge. When it is down downloading, double-click the installer, and it will open. Click “Next” a few times through the install and finally “Finish” at the end. CurseForge will then open.
Next, click on Minecraft and click “Continue”. CurseForge will be setup for Minecraft. Search for “Pixelmon Modpack” in the search bar and the top. When you find Pixelmon, click the “Install” button on it, and with that, you now know how to download Pixelmon.
Click the Minecraft icon on the left-hand side and you will be able to see the Pixelmon Modpack installing. Once it finishes, hover over it, and click the “Play” button. The Minecraft Launcher will open. You will need to login to your account. This is the default Minecraft Launcher, so it is completely safe and required in order to install Pixelmon on Minecraft PC.
After you have logged in, click on the “Play” button in the Minecraft Launcher. Pixelmon will then open up fully working and installed. In order to learn how to play Pixelmon for Minecraft, you can create a singleplayer world or join a Pixelmon server. The option is 100% up to you and what you want your Pixelmon experience to be.
Typically, as soon as you join into a Pixelmon world, you will be able to select your starting Pokemon. There are also Pokemon wandering around everywhere, and these can be capture, battled, and even just added to your Pokedex. There is a reason that Pixelmon is continuously one of the most popular Minecraft modpacks, and the fact it being a truly in-depth Pokemon experience in Minecraft is one of them!

Hi there!! I have watched some of your videos and have found the really helpful, so I was possibly wondering if you could help me with this issue: fairly often when I try to join a server it says "Invalid session (try restarting your game and launcher)" and no, I don't use an unofficial launcher and no, I don't open more the one instance of Minecraft. I have tried other methods but none have worked. if I restart my game in does work but it has became a huge annoyance. if you can help I would MUCH apricate it. Thank you!!

Cobblemon is a lot better, it is for the newest versions, and still keeps the pixelated atmosphere so it doesn't look like you just copy and pasted Pokémon into a block game. Cobblemon is also on modrinth which is better than cursforge which is currently failing
