Honestly, Minecraft 1.16 - the Nether Update is the best version, hands down! The way they completely revamped the Nether with new biomes like Crimson Forests and Warped Forests made it way more fun to explore. Plus, the addition of Netherite tools and armor gave us something stronger than diamond, which made grinding for materials actually worth it. I also love how they added more to do, like bartering with Piglins and looting Bastion Remnants. And let’s not forget the atmosphere-those new music tracks were fire and made the game feel way more immersive. This update just hit different, and getting minecraft java edition finally would mean a lot to me.

1.14 is still my favourite since it was the start of a significant shift in minecraft updates to much larger and more impressive proportions!
