When I start the launcher it says select rust.exe path the when I click ok it just goes to the main menu in rusticaland launcher not sure what to do

it can be from your ram? if u have less then 16 gb ram or a low end pc... orrr try to look at your video settings and put all on low for the first time cuz i had a problem with all on ultra, try that

In the list of servers, uncheck the use cache option and reset the list

Happened to me. It seems like antivirus software detects this file as trojan malware. Check your antivirus, you probably have some files from rust on quarantine, the game is not a virus... but im very sorry if u don believe me... i think that is only solution

Yes, because you are connected to the servers of the original game. Uncheck “use cache” and close the list and do a restart to show you the cracked servers.

Hello, I encountered this problem myself about a week ago and after contacting Facepunch support as well as little bit of my own experimenting, I came up with these conclusions that may or may not work to fix your game and be able to connect to servers again: Unstable or slow internet connection, running 2 firewalls at once (the Windows firewall and another firewall in your antivirus program - make sure the antivirus does not have it enabled), not allowing RustClient.exe through your Windows firewall (make sure it is allowed!), problems with your internet router, try another if you have access to any extra routers. Sometimes this error just disappears on its own. If nothing above worked, wait a while and try again. Or wait for the next Rust update/patch to be released and see if that fixes it.
