The 1" is still ok if you don't want a deep cup. I went further to explain how to topically get the bust cups generally.

You can do it that way, or you extend the dart to The length of the gown .

You're welcome once again dear. Actually I made a video to explain how the difference in bust sizes works when it comes to taking dart, please watch it, you would understand better. Most times we woke with the measurements we have at hand and I realized that it doesn't work that way for all bust sizes expecially bigger bust sizes. How do you determine the neck depth of this off shoulder bustier blouse

The average neck depth is 4" but you can take more depending on how low you want it. Just place your tape starting with the figure you want to use at the top of your paper or fabric
