Please correct me if I'm mistaken, I am thinking that Dora's jumpsuit is an off shoulder with a yoke, and the other part of the yoke was designed with the fabric. Because I can see a mesh at the other side

It can also be achieved through attaching a yoke to a bustier . Great analysis. Welldone sewmate

You're very correct because if you look well like you said you would see the full joining at the shoulder. It just looks like it was designed with the lace fabric
