Hi, great video. I've been doing this since 1984 and have been lucky to never have frozen pipes. I found the Floe system about six years ago for about thirty quid, and as something you only use once a year I still wouldn't be without it. It's a great tool and you did really well to find it for a fiver. Thanks for sharing and enjoy your time ;))

Thank you! We use our van a lot in the winter, but I always check the forecast, some weeks there is not a chance of it going below zero!

We got 1.5 more litres out using a “floe” drain down system and that was also leaving the waste pipes open on the way home too. Well done you picking it up for a fiver!

Hi Lang and Sara. Great tutorial Lang. I've been lucky, caravanning since the 80s not had any burst pipes yet. Surprising how much water came out. Wouldn't pay £50 but a fiver sounds great well done for finding it. Can't think of any second hand caravan shops in Peterborough. Thanks guys. Thumbs up thumped 👍 ....Pete and Su....

The are often attached to the smaller caravan dealers (think they sell the stock that comes back with used caravans). I think the normal way of draining down is sufficient!
