How to draw a hip roof - 2D vs 3D method in ArchiCAD

In this video I explain the method of calculating the geometry of a hip roof, when drawing it using 2D methods. I then use ArchiCAD's roof tool to model the roof using the single-plane function and the multi-plane function as a comparison.
