Whatever you’re comfortable with. I like to use a 0.8 or a 1.2. Another favourite is a brush marker

How do you make the gray wash? I can spit shade but it requires me to lay down black first. I watch a lot of video tutorials but they don’t show how they get gray

Hey Madison! To be honest i can’t remember 🤦🏻♂️ they’re just cheap Tacklon synthetic watercolour brushes, $8 each or something
