How to draw a Lion for beginners with pastel pencils

In this beautiful tutorial we will get started with Pastel pencils on Canson pastel paper.
The result is impressive !!
But I also show tips on how to easily copy a subject on the pastel paper, especially for the beginning artists ^^
The chance of success is now getting a lot bigger but it is and remains a big but great challenge !!
Drawing material:
* Canson Mi Teintes light brown
* Blue pastels (for tracing)
* Stabilo Carbothello Pastel pencils
(colors include Black, White, Gray 760 +703, Brown 620 615 + 635, Yellow ocher, Orange 221, Blue 435, Rose 681, Alt rose 330, yellow 695, Green 575 and a test pencil)
I also show the colors extensively and if you work with another brand, then this is no problem at all.

Oh my, what a BEAUTIFUL PAINTING!!!!! Lineke this is an absolute FAVORITE !!!! do you feel that the pastel pencils and pan pastels are less dusty than the semi hard ones like prismacolor nupastels or cretacolor ?

Hi Becky! Thank you so much dear! 😽👍 And about your question, the Panpastel is not dusty at all. But I have no experiance with the Prisma colors, Nupastels and Creta colors so I am not sure about that..... :O
