Beautiful eye. The rainbow of colour helps to show your skill with blending hues and using them. It is also more eye catching than simple green eyes. And I like the walkthrough and the tips. Seeing the leopard makes me wonder though. Have you drawn a cheetah before?

Ohh I have no idea where the reference is! I got it from pixabay probably but apparently didn't feel like putting it on screen. It's an old video haha. No leopards have round pupils, just like lions:)

How do you know what colors to use and blend and start and darken with, is this always based on the reference photo? What if you cant see the colors in the base layer on the photo? how do you know what colors to layer?

Shirley Malar Thank you! yes I demonstrate colored pencil as well. As I just have started on Patreon I don't have a lot on there yet. I think there's 1 long colored pencil demo, 2 shorter ones, and then I have 3 long pastel demo's. I try to switch up as much as possible:)

alice nijkamp het is zeker mogelijk, maar pastel is natuurlijk wel een ander medium dus hetzelfe effect zal wel op een andere manier bereikt moeten worden neem ik aan. Ik ben niet zo heel geoefend met pastel, dus hoe precies zou ik niet zo goed weten:)
