Just discovered you today. Absolutely masterful use of brush strokes to create light! I should say, it took a lot of study and planning to create and save those lights! Hi there. I was reading your comment about the artist work. I find it interesting that you went from watercolor to oils wherein I went from oils to watercolor. Do you find oils easier? I do. I thought I might need some time in adjusting in saving the white paper for highlights. It does take some planning. However, I had a little trouble remembering to start out with the light color first in watercolor There are pros and cons on both mediums. I think my con in oils is oil cleanup and the fumes. It takes forever removing oil paint from my brushes. I like oils, but I like the transparency one gets in watercolor, particularly in floral art. Anyway, I just wanted to say hello and make comment in watercolor to oils.
