I created an unofficial Inktober prompt list for Zentangle fans, which you can download from my website: bit.ly/2S3wNpu
For today's prompt, which is "Zendala" I wanted to draw a Zentangle that was different from what I usuallly do. So instead of using concentric circles that share the same center point for my string, I decided to do an offset Zendala.
And it had the desired effect of getting me to think outside the box. Not everything in this Zendala "works" for me, but some things definitely do. I ran out of time again today and didn't use the Gelly Roll pen as much as I would have liked.
If you're just learning how to draw Zentangles, the patterns I used most prominently are Flux and Springkle. There's also a hint of Cadent in the outermost ring of the Zendala.
