The irony is that the "Storm of Sakai" is never referred to as a "katana" -- in the English language version, it is only referred to as "the sword of Clan Sakai" while the Japanese language dialog refers to it more specifically as a "tachi" (which would be the more period-correct version of a katana).

I don't have a katana and I don't have any dojo in India at least not in my city.But I am fascinated with iaido. I want to do It but I don't think I will get the opportunity so it's sad.but I really really like this. So to practice it I have made a plastic Katana with a piece of plastic and some tape and I watch those video of yours and I really like it. I envy you. So if it was possible for me I would definitely go to Japan and practice iaido with you. I belong from a middle class family super purchasing a Katana is almost impossible for me. They are very very expensive. So I think it will be a dream. For now atleast. 😞
