Thank you for doing these. I really want to say how much I have gained from watching your videos and seeing the techniques you employ. If it wasn't for the inspiration you provide I think I would have given up long ago. A heartfelt thanks from me.

so if you were to pick this card up and look at it from an extreme angle, would you be able see "texture" .. such as lines and brush strokes? I just purchased an "ACEO ATC Sketch Card" from an artist and i thought i was purchasing an actual original painting but the card is suspiciously smooth and even-textured as if it was simply inkjet printed.
@NilRochaArt3 жыл бұрын
Hi SICKENTIST :) Did you buy the art directly from the artist or from a seller other than the artist? Is the sketch card painted in watercolor or acrylic or oil? When the paper is hot pressed depending on the technique that has been painted it may be a little flat, but in any case it is possible to identify it by looking. observing the texture, it should have some relief if it was drawn with a pen or brush. If I could see the art maybe I can identify if it is an original or just a print. I sell a lot of original sketch cards for different places in the world, I sign on the back and on the front of the card, also if the client wants me to send in video all the art creation process, I also do that. The ideal is that you buy the art directly from the artist, try to research about this artist as well. If you need any more help my email nilrochaart@gmail.com There is my instagran too, there are many different arts and styles there instagram.com/nilrochaart/ Nil :)

@@NilRochaArt so he advertised himself as the original artist, but turns out he’s not. After much research I’ve got it all figured out now. Turns out he’s stealing other artists works, or simply taking pictures from movies, then adding a few filters in photoshop to make it appear as though it’s a watercolor painting, then he prints them on cards for sale on eBay. Totally disgusting and I paid for $36 for something that is a stolen piece of art. I found the original artist of the card I bought on Etsy and I plan to purchase a print directly from him to support him. Thank you for the reply.
If your goal was to give us motivation, you reached it 100% :) Thank you! And we want more!
