The tip "drawing lightly" is very underrated, a lot of art books don't dictate it. I love this book so much!

Ordered your book back in October. Very well done book. I recommended it to my professors and they love it as well. Said they'll use it as a required text for their drawing classes. Keep up the great work!

I’ve been drawing my whole life and would say have a pretty good sense of detailing and proportions. My skills in perspective were really spotty but thanks to your book I’ve really improved exponentially. Thank you

Scott Robertson I\'m not sure but ,if anyone else wants to discover how to draw cars for beginners try Qwixie Vehicle Sketch Helper (just google it ) ? Ive heard some decent things about it and my work buddy got amazing success with it.

Scott Robertson Hi I love this video, especially your tips in the second half for how to draw cars and trucks pdf . A product I also found helpfull for how to draw cars book download was Skyarza Car Sketching Star - find it on google if you want
@MrGeagleiam9 жыл бұрын
Scott Robertson thanks for this book presentation on "how to draw cars book download". Though it seems easy, it is hard do draw even simplest forms. This will help us a lot in terms of geometry. I liked skyarza car sketching star too (easy to find through google).

I bought your book on perspective drawing way back and so far it's always been what I've returned to. I haven't much checked your youtube channel so I really like that you're connecting it to the book as well. I'm definitely gonna get this one, thank you!

Scott, after watching your tutorials, I splurged and bought the hardback for my birthday and read through it. I've spent a lot of time troubleshooting solid models in CAD/industrial design and have also spent hours figuring out perspective on aircraft drawings/illustrations. This book blew my mind away on both subjects, and I didn't even need to pull out a calculator. Currently working through the book and can't wait to get creative with all these new mental tools in my belt!

I got this last week. I have to say, it's very detailed and never skips over anything but my god it can be mind melting at times. I don't think this book would suit beginners, it feels like the book assumes you have a little perspective knowledge already. I think alot of people are going to get frustrated with the book at first, it's only natural to be upset when you can't understand things even though you are trying your hardest, but going over everything again and again helps in the end. The book is great, it will just require alot of time and dedication to fully utilize it. You are not going to be drawing awesome vehicles and landscapes within a week. But with alot of study, this book will have you doing it in no time.
@scottrobertsondesign10 жыл бұрын
Thanks and I agree with the effort and time part. I think if a reader also watches all of the video content the written book material is easier to understand. It's tough to write about such an abstract concept, accurately drawing things from your imagination in perspective. I'm happy the next book is about rendering!
