Fe +2 : Six valence
Fe +3 : five valence
1st , 2nd , 3rd , 4th valence -- Fe link : Pyrrole Nitrogen by four coordinate bond.
5th valence -- Fe link : with imadazole nitrogen of proximal histidine.
6th valence --
Fe link : in oxyHb - with oxygen.
in deoxyHb - water molecule present b/w Fe and distal histidine.
in Hb structure :
* four pyrole ring numberd (Roman nu. ) - I , II , III , IV
* Bridges named -
alpha , beta , gamma , delta
* Possible site of substitutions denote - 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 , 5 , 6 , 7 , 8
