Thank you so much for these videos! They're some of the best tutorials I've seen on CSP! I'm sure this will save me so much time :)

Hello, thank you so much for the video! I love the abilities of vector layers but it is hard to get used to, especially the choppy eraser. When you used the transparent color as the eraser it changes everything and makes working so much easier, thank you!!! ❤️

Thanks for watching my video! I'm glad to hear that you are able to draw smoothly now. :) I hope this video makes using vector layers a little less hard for you!
How did you get the vector selection tool to switch to lasso? I haven't been able to find anything like that in my version of CSP. (Pro 1.10.6)

I apologize for the lack of explanation in this section. In the video, I'm fast-forwarding, so it looks like one function, but I'm using two separate functions in succession, the [Lasso] tool and [ Select Overlapping Vectors ] in the [Selection] menu. I have registered each of them as a shortcut and switch between them. First, I create a selection with the [Lasso] tool, and then activate [ Select Overlapping Vectors ] with the shortcut.

Its really useful like you said even for rough my question is near the end of video you said something about overlapping hair do you draw hair strands and fill them with white to avoid overlapping? (8:10) if yes is it done on a raster layer or still on the vector? I m really curious

Thanks for watching my video! You're right, the white fill is to avoid overlapping hair. I am using 3 layers here. One is a vector layer of hair in the foreground, the second is a raster layer of white fill, and the third is a vector layer of hair at the very back. I believe that either a vector layer or a raster layer can be used to draw the lines, but I find it more convenient to keep the fill layer and the line drawing layer separate for later correction.
