I am a late bloomer in the art world learning drawing and watercolors at the same time. I recently did a watercolor of a peony and realized I was just putting strokes of color on the paper not really thinking about the flower but just focusing on the painting technique. You have broken down the complex shapes and the shading into steps that my non-artistic brain can understand. Thank you very much. Please, please do some more tutorials in this series - where you start with basic shapes, then a guide, then a whole flower and then a composition and/or drawing from a reference photo.
