I lost my sweet 87 yr old mother to Parkinson’s a year ago, her tremors were in her hands and tongue, the doctors encouraged to find a hand eye focusing hobby when she was diagnosed in 2008. She started painting which she had not done since high school many years ago. You would never know she has Parkinson’s in viewing her paintings It was so nice but completely random that this video showing your amazing talent but also these stunning roses. My grandfather received a heirloom rose bush from his family when he returned home from WW II and he gave a clipping of it to my parents when they bought their first house and it continued to with us until we could not revive it from a extreme hot summer, that bush was over 100 yrs old The reason for all these details in this post is to thank you for giving a loving memory of my momma whom I miss dearly. I don’t know that I have had a chance to mourn her given she passed 2/3/22 and my husband had a life-threatening work accident 3/7/22 and he is still recovering and has another surgery this month. It has been very difficult to survive this passed year without her love but your video gave me a bit of heart warm today Thx

This is called One Stroke Painting by Donna Dewberry. You load the brush up with more than one color so you can make gradient effects to give your objects more depth. There was a tutorial system you could buy. I tried it out about 15-20 yrs ago.

Then they carry some of those techniques, in their own style, with them as they grow as an artist. Nothing I said was disrespectful to this artist. I simply identified one of the techniques she was using. So please take your faux outrage elsewhere. This artist didn't get upset with me and yell at me so why are *you* so upset? The roses are beautifully painted…effortlessly. I wish I could do that! With each stroke of the brush, you can see that it isn’t that simple for a novice! I really just can’t get over the gentle touch you have to have to be able to do something like this…the delicate moves, like a neurosurgeon in the medical field. That I can relate to because I’ve had 2 brain surgeries. I was a pharmacist…but, that was easy. Being able to do this…this is an art and only a select few are blessed with the talent. Now, is it me or the green leaves on the right not connected to the rose at all? These are the things my little brain gets stuck on- literally meaning of things. Since my injury in ‘94, it’s how my brain works so I can’t see things figuratively.
