About Guruji Amritananda

Sri Amritananda Natha Saraswati (Dr. Prahlada Sastry) (1934 - 2015) is a respected nuclear physicist who, after having received life-changing vision of Bala Tripura Sundari, left his prestigious job of 23 years at Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR) to become a #SriVidya Upasaka and Guru. He was chosen by Devi to build the world's only temple in the form of a 3 dimensional Sri Yantra, at #Devipuram 35kms from the city of #Visakhapatnam.
The Sri Yantra Maha Meru has images of all the Khadgamala Goddesses which one can worship and interact with directly. The Kamakhya Guru Peetham is a sacred place at Devipuram where Guruji had many darshans of and received ancient teachings from Goddess Kamakhya.
At Her behest, Guruji made the teaching of Sri Vidya an essential part of his mission and strongly believed that everyone regardless of caste, creed, religion, nationality or gender should have access to this Vidya. He left no stone unturned in demystifying the complex rituals, creating easy formats for everyone to understand and practice. Guruji also started many social empowerment programs to help society at large.
With numerous loving disciples all over the world, Guruji and his wife, Srimati Annapurnamba (lovingly known as Guruji Amma) have dedicated their lives to the service of the people. In October 2015, Guruji merged with the Divine Mother leaving behind a great legacy.

I've been trying to make a Shri Chakra, but so far none of it was made perfectly. Is it advised to color and those (not perfectly made) Shri Chakras to friends and family? If not, what to do with them?

Thank you.I did it first go.. :) I found your inch measurements confusing.. 0.5 inch.. Was that 8/16ths of an inch or 5/16ths of an inch.. I did figure it out,I'm just not use to inches.. Thank you again..Bless you my friend.. :)

Hi, I had the same confusion when I attempted. But when I contacted Guruji, he had clarified wonderfully as below; The distance between horizontals of a fully drawn SriChakra should be 6,6,5,3,4,3,3,6,6,6 units from top to bottom and totaling 48 (diameter of the triangle is 48 units). So, from top first 3 points should be marked at 6 units, 6 units and 5 units. From bottom 6,6, and 6 units. Hope this answers.

So given current dimensions, ie 2" radius circle, and 0.5inch is half inch, 0.25inch is quarter inch then on a regular scale what is 0.4inch? Inches are not marked in divisions of 10.
