You have done a great job showing how to draw each of the chakras. I am actually making an appliqué quilt, and I need simple drawings. You are so inspiring. I’ve watched many of your videos. I hope I remember to like each one! I am a subscriber too. Thank you for sharing your talent. It is really beyond talent because of your vast knowledge of sacred geometry. I taught geometry to fourth graders for thirty years and I wish I could go back and teach everything you have taught me in these videos!

@zak korvin how do you draw the petals so well? I try drawing them and none of them appears to be uniform, every petal appears different.. It sort of kills the very basis of a mandala i.e. Balance and uniformity.. Can you please help me and many more people like me with this? I love your tutorials
@ZKorvin3 жыл бұрын
It just comes with practice and repetition. If you want to improve your petals, make a grid and draw petals over and over and over again. Don't have any expectations, just keep drawing until you're happy with them. Hope that helps! 🙏🏻

Thank you so much! I was just wondering about the direction of the 4 leaves. In most other images of the root chakra, the four lotus petals are directed in North-South and East-West direction. What is the proper way? Does it matter? It does change the feel of the symbol, I think.

You’re very welcome. I don’t think it matters where they point, personal preference.

Hey brother I found something I think you will find interesting. It was bothering me that you were having to free hand the petals so I had a look to see if there was a way it could all be drawn with a compass and there is. I'll let you find it yourself but there is only a few extra steps to get the measurements to use the compass. After all, there are no approximations when it comes to geometry 🙏🏼
@ZKorvin2 жыл бұрын
It’s funny you say that because I was about to make a video on that. I didn’t have to freehand them, I made the chakra series this way on purpose to make it accessible for everyone, mainly because the crown chakra has 1000 petals.
@manwithsomeplans2 жыл бұрын
@@ZKorvin after I wrote my comment I thought to myself, he must already know considering the amount of time he's spent drawing them. I think people would enjoy it if you were to show the process. Even though all the lines won't line up perfectly. There's some deep thought to be had as to why not. I've just finished the throat chakra so a nice easy one now before the finale 😅

Couldn't the petals also be drawn as some additional partial circles with the compass? I believe it's a bit frustrating to draw them by hand. And also distracting if you draw it in a meditative state and get nervous by messing it up.
