I dont think its ppls own insecurities as much as its a saying to point out alot of the pintrest off runway model looks are always praised on straight sized bodies but not the same admeration is given to them when their on fat bodies,this was a social phenomenon to pointout fatphobia like a year or 2 ago their wer youtube videos that discuss3d this and even some fat creatirs put on pintrest looks worn by straight sized people to test it out . There was one pic of 2 fat women at disney land with vintage disney shirts white long socks and denim shorts and they were made fun of but when models like gigi were seen off the runway in clothes that looks just like the original outfit but on a thinner body it was praised, its mire to point out fatphobic standards in he fashion world and society in general , also therapy isnt cheap lol we are on the brink of a recession in a country without free or even accessible healthcare
