I looked this up so many years later because I remember that scene, the dialog, and even the music. Preppy forever! Why? Because I would much rather embrace the classy preppy culture, lifestyle, and clothes rather than so much of what gets celebrated nowadays. Preppy is about thinking smart, achieving, learning, having class, knowing manners and etiquette, being proper, having respect, being cultivated.
