How to Drill Basic Tang Soo Do Techniques

In this video we demonstrate the horse stance, front stance and fighting stance for Tang Soo Do. We also cover how to do the first 4 basic blocks and ways to drill.
Low block, high block, inside to outside block and outside to inside block. Include these drills in your basic martial arts training for better technique!

Sadly I had to stop attending the Dojan 2 years ago but I still maintain my training at home four to five times a week. Tang Soo Do is a life changing art, so well done for continuing the traditions and spreading the word.

If you are not an adult, talk with your parents or any adult that you know. This is serious. If you are an adult, try to talk with them or, if necessary, go to the police. Self defense is good and necessary, if you know a place go talk with the "sensei" and start something that makes you better. But violence is never the solution, like I said before, go talk with people that can resolve this. Be safe, think before act and I'm praying for your safety. Never forget, you have people on your side.

Hi Stefanos, sorry to hear about your situation! While physical martial arts training is great for self-defense, I would encourage you to try resolving the situation without physical violence if possible. I don't know the details of the situation but making smart choices like avoiding those men who are bullying you and removing yourself from situations where you might be bullied are a good start. I hope and pray you will stay safe, and this problem will be resolved in a productive way.

you are not moo duk kwan because you are wearing a all black uniform which is not correct because it is all white with trim. Also Moo Duk Kwan is a protected name.

@@iflankzttv2981 I think Moo Duk Kwan and Tang So Do are like "brothers" arts... maybe I'm wrong, but I think some Moo Suk Kwan members have problem with the stablish of Tang Soo Do. "At the various developments of the art, some of Hwang Kee's students chose to leave the organization, and start new groups in order to keep using the old name of the art and the old curriculum. This has resulted in several different independent groups using the Moo Duk Kwan name for their organizations worldwide, while using different names for their martial art, such as Tang Soo Do, Taekwondo and Soo Bak Do."

If you are thanks to the why are you wearing a black uniform this is the one way that we lose our tradition in this classical martial art and you are not moodukwan The Moodukkwan belongs the US Soo Bahk do moo duk kwan federation it is a copyrighted name that is protected to ensure that it's lineage remains pure just because you train in moodukkwan at one time does not make you a member you must be connected to the federation it is a living and evolving martial art if you don't belong or not connected to it you're not receiving any information otherwise you're just dying on the vine.🙁
