Very useful one. Even i struggled 1st year driving in hills. Later i started to drive in local temple hills road for practice. Once i learned i moved on to heavy traffic in timbam, kodaikaanal & ooty roads for mastering clutch control, because once stuck in traffic you have to do this method every time.

You explanation is good. My suggestion is to include some information about the car torque because clutch movement depends on the car torque. If the car have high torque, we can easily move the car without acceleration, even any type of uphill slope.

We can apply hand brake and put the car in 1st gear. Now we have to accelerate lit bit more because its in hand brake and when the car starts moving slowly you can release the hand brake its so easy and simple. You guys can do this instead of following what he says.its very complicated. You can move the car with hand brakes upto 5 or 7 meters.there won't be any problem for engine,clutch. What he is saying is not good👎👎👎

Yeah it is one the skill but it will hurt you engine . And some other times thing goes worst like slanting up hill . Your engine could not hold your car on those time your engine will stall and car moves backward . The best way to do is put on your hand brake and make sure that car should not move backward . Take your legs off from the main brake .put 1st gear release your clutch and accelerate a bit there come a point your car starts to move a bit on that time release the hand brake . By doing this way . You won't affect you engine on the same time . You will feel comfortable . 👍
