speaking as a musician, it's generally a bad idea to tap your foot to keep a rythm. When your foot is tapping at a certain speed that is irregular to you, your brain sometimes thinks "woah there" and will slow your foot down without you even realising it, therefore making you fall out of sync with the music. Its much better to keep a rythm in your head than using your foot. just something to bare in mind [=

For real i'm a f**king guitarist (both real and plastic) and i can get 98% on say it ain't so. I actually beat birchmen on drums in rb2. This guy's just total ass at the game

I usually use the annoying clacking sound the drum kit makes to keep me in rythm for those long strips of notes that are just the same thing over and over with the base pedal every two notes usually (like in enter the sandman)

i disagree with the play to what you see instead of hear but other than that these are quality tips for beginners i play on hard and used your 45 degree angle idea... much more comfortable now

OMFG he talks as if hes actually a drummer but its rock band go get a real kit and then put a tutorial on anyone can drum on rock band and dude at least get good at the game before you start telling people how to play it
