Big time thanks! I had a screen with 30 buttons, each with graphics on them, and I had to copy that to 2 more screens. I was NOT looking forward to repeating all that twice more.

Thank you! I'd advise against deleting your old project too soon though. Make sure your modified project works before you delete the old one. If something breaks, you'll lose a lot of work otherwise.

I did what you showed but it doesn't accept it when I turn the zip file back to the aia file. The error shows up: the selected project is not a source file

When i try change the file from .AIA to .ZIP it keeps the original format, i mean, it changes to name.zip but is still in aia format. Could you help me with that please?

Hi! First of all, I really liked your video (and hope you still check your account this many years later) I did exactly what you did but on my mac (using Sublime instead of Notepad) but when I zip it back and change the file's extension to .aia App Inventor won't accept it as a "source file" even if it has the .aia extension.
