also, if you hold your opposite index finger at the point where you want your part to stop (the center of your neck) your rattail comb should find its way to that exact spot... i'm not sure how, but it works everytime.

Howdy! I recently got back into Dutch braiding and was doing okay. They looked good but didn’t feel tight and they seemed elongated if that makes any sense. I watched the video through once, and then sat with the video and let it play while practicing. Y’ALL! If you pay attention and get the technique down, this upped my braid came a ton! They look so clean and feel way tighter and just look great. Great tutorial!!! Definitely gonna recommend to others!!! Thank you!!

So literally the day you post this I was in the middle of doing Dutch braids on myself for the very first time and was failing hard!! That is until I watched your video and it just clicked 🥳 I still have issues tightening the braids further down behind the ears, last couple of passes end up sagging in the back 🤷‍♀️ anyway I love this hairstyle, I wear it for 2days and then let my hair down and rock the curls for another 2days 😸 thank you ❤️

I can't for the life of me figure this out lol. I am sure it is just muscle memory and the fact I dont have a mirror, or maybe because my hair is kinda wavy already especially if it gets wet it gets fair wavy as it drys. I run into the same problem everything, I cant get clean section like you have. Like you can see each section you 'strand' clearly in contrast to your scalp, but I am unable to achieve this.
