Oh, never knew why they died ponds. Good to know that it keeps the heron away 👍 We have a lot of them over here 😭. We are making sure the at least the fish have a hiding place in our pond and a net to cover it as well. It's a tiny pond compared to yours 😅

Oh okay. I'm not sure if they do it here in the state or county run ponds. I know they do dye the Chicago River green for St. Patrick's Day. 😊

Never tried it but have seen it in ponds...I always thought it was to disguise ugky green water that you don't have

Well, I guess you could use it for whatever you want to. For me, we've always used it because of the heron mostly. Since the pond gets midday sun, it warms up pretty good, so the dye helps keep the water a little cooler as well. 👍
