Hello everyone, my name is Duong.
I am 32 years old.
I live in a poor mountainous area of Vietnam.
From a young age, I had to work hard to help my parents.
Difficult life is always around, I work and learn everything from my grandparents and the old people in the village.
Gradually, I mastered the skills.
5 years ago, I decided to live the challenge.
Determined to learn about the primitive way of life, I chose to live in the wilderness, alone.
Where there's no technology and forcing yourself to pass, it feels great!
How about you? Your life is definitely different from mine.
Have fun watching the video!

To have a good result when dyeing fabric, is good to boil the dye from the tubers and put the fabric into the boiling water so that the fiber on the fabric take on a good color.

Your wife's cabin and farm are beautiful, but I must say that I find your farm more appealing. Perhaps that is because I watched you build everything by hand using old technology, from the first little woven bamboo cottage, to a pond and then all of the other buildings! Congratulations to both of you!

For those who build wooden houses like this, make sure to include a small piece of copper wiring between the stone foundation and the wood to drive off termites as well as having the wood treated against humidity. The slant of the balcony roof also should be at a slight angle and not flat to prevent water from siting there and infiltrating into the beams

Hi Doung, Please forgive me for not commenting for a while. You simply amaze me and all that you know and accomplish!!! I still think you could be a consultant for others struggling to get their farms going. You're very skilled. I'm so loving your fabric tasks, and I hope to see you make something with it. 😊 Also, you have some very big fish!!! I was like, wow, I'd like to get one of those cooked up. There would be enough for a small dinner party!! Very beautiful. 😊🥰 Thank you for sharing. ❤

Are those roots and leaves okay to be around food? I'm wondering because that's the mortar you use for grinding rice and corn. Also, you did not show how you made the black dye color. Will you be showing that?

Unfortunately, the natural pigment quickly fades in the sun. You need to dry the fabric in the shade. You need to add lime juice, acid to the pigment, it stabilizes the pigment, but it will fade quickly in the sun.

Has hecho una tela fuerte y resistente. Muchas felicidades!! BUILDING a stairway is not really easy to understand. Not shown here, but in Huong's video: pouring the cement around the base of the bottom posts certainly helps to reduce wiggling. So what you 2 have built DESERVES being called STURDY!
