I dyed my locs red 4 months ago. Looks good I take care of them, but I want to go jet black. Have it been long enough?

Hello, no I colored them on dry hair. I think that’s a personal preference. Are you ready to get a Retwist? Or are you going to wait some more? If you’re ready to go head and get a retwist I would Retwist after you colored them. Good luck with your loc journey.

How long does the temporary rinse last? I want to go back to black but I have so many questions.

Mine normally last a good while because I don’t wash my hair frequently..even though I should..I don’t. So if you wash your hair more..it will fade some every time you wash it. I also use a color fade shampoo to help with my color.

Also if you’re using any clarifying shampoo it will definitely strip the color more too but anytime you wash it just prepare for it to fade some. You can just add another rinse when you see it faded too much for you.
