I'm very angry that i switched schools midway through freshman year, and never got to pick my sophomore year classes. I was robbed of a whole YEAR of possible AP classes, which I definitely would've taken. I could've taken more this year, but I didn't for some reason. I'm mad at sophomore year self and i'm mad at my counselor for freshman year. The former for not deciding to take more than 2 AP Classes, and the latter for not putting me into ANY advanced classes (not even honors). To make up for it, I'm taking 4 AP Classes this year (BC, Physics 1, Physics C, and Lang). Would colleges care if I don't have these awards? And if I explain that I never got to pick my previous classes, would they take it as a worthy excuse? Would the classes I'm taking senior year help to rectify my past mistakes? It's stressing me out...

Those 4 APs you plan to take this year are really good so that will definitely help! And if you're planning to take more senior year you're definitely good! Don't stress it!

@@saturn9536Hey! I wouldn’t worry too much about not having those awards, while they are nice to have on a college app, I don’t think they are the end all be all even at more competitive schools. Personally I got a couple of them and didn’t even put them on any application, so I would just worry about doing well in the classes that you have control over

Ngl I'm scared of this bc I'm transferring to a different state rn and as an incoming sophomore that planned on graduating in 3 years my current councilor was down for me to take as much AP's as possible (maybe 4 wasn't the best idea coming from a freshman that only took AP Human this year) but I'm scared my new councilor won't be as lenient or even allow me to graduate early lol. It doesn't suck nearly as much as I imagine it did for you so best of luck :)

AP Precalc or just precalc? I believe precalc in general builds the foundation for AP Calc classes, so I would recommend taking precalc and any AP Calc afterwards. If anything, you can save AP Stats for your final year of high-school

I have a potential video idea that I thought would be fun for people to know if they haven't already. Maybe you can do some research into the fact that people this year more than ever are paying people (I've heard over $200) to complete their Create Task for AP CSP. Maybe you could mention it in a short on what the issue is and then make some funny joke saying how dumb it is when you can do it yourself and if you're still very lazy, to just use AI. Then again just an idea, thought it'd be cool to see on this wonderful unique channel.

definitely an interesting topic, it's funny because the create task is only 30% of the grade, so doesn't even influence if you pass or fail that much lol

@@Mr.AP5 oh and on that note, maybe also mention something about how even though there are students that are done with their app even when they know what to do, they still forget to meet the requirements like a list, if statement, for loop, etc. Even when they try to argue that they added it, either they didn't, or they did but it's not in their function and is rather in an on event or somewhere else throughout the program
