You can go AFK inside the Test Track...Go inside the test track and as soon as you spawn in back your car up a little to get the "Enter LS" alert....Now plug your controller in and go AFK..you will earn about 1 Car Meet Rep level per hour.....You're Welcome!

Me and my wife (yes my wife plays GTA) are racing the street series together. So we are always 1st and 2nd. Yeah its that easy to get the prize car. And Rank up is fast too. We made a playlist with all 7 races and do all in noncontact and 2 laps. After that we are nearly 1 rank up. The other thing we do is doing stuff in the test area. The 2 challenges against each other earn you 1 square of a level. For Solo grinders this is nothing they can do. So you have to stay AFK in the car meet.

If you do this - you’re all lazy. This is my most fave update ever... new clothes, new little heists, business, full car customisation, hang out with other players in a real car meet with a testing track that offers a simple time trial that gives you rep everytime you make a lap hahaha ! + people are just gonna sit in their cars or stand still with a rubber and on the stick doing nothing ? Where’s the fun in that..... this is a dlc GTA + car lovers needed, even the snack all button is amazing 😂🥳 well done GTA

It does take longer to rank up as you rank up. If you do this by afk, you can go from level 1 to 11 overnight. Now it takes me a full night to go from 132 to 133. Also, instead of getting like one bar for doing something, you're lucky if you get 1/6 a bar.

idk about xbox but for ps4 controllers, if you lay ur controller upside down on something like a desk or floor and move your analog sticks to the side, gravity will hold the controller down with ur analog sticks moving, so you don’t need rubber bands

I can confirm that changing cars and driving it on the test track _does not_ earn reputation. You only earn reputation for one car you own per day, it seems. Don't bother changing cars and entering the test track expecting more rep. That doesn't work.

Can someone help me out here, I’ve tried the rubber band method so I can be afk and rank up. I tried it these past two nights and I keep waking up to my Xbox being “frozen.” My gta character is shown spinning around like I left him, but I cannot do anything when I’m ready to play again. My screen shows him spinning around and I am forced to restart my Xbox with the Xbox power button because my screen is frozen on my character spinning (I can still hear the game too). Anyways, Why does this keep happening? I didn’t gain much levels as I thought I would either because of these freezes. Can someone please help me out?

Since I have a PS5 remote that started drifting a few weeks ago, I did tie a rubber band around around my analog sticks while at the car meet arena for a few hours and I got good XP

Watch security cams in nightclub or ls car meet. U can disconnect your controller. Just watch them and turn off your controller and walk away

Don't use a rubber band on your controller. It will permanently damage the spring of your joystick. Use something like a pipe cleaner that will just sightly push the joystick over, not all the way.
