Another good tip for Heaven Ascension DIO is to use hamon as it allows you to do A LOT more damage as DIO counts as a vampire and has no hamon resistance

personally i like using johnathan’s hamon since you dont have to charge it. my favorite combo to use for heaven dio is tw + johnathan since tw has rage to deal more damage, luck and pluck to remove arm for more damage, and road roller for an easy time stop escape

I don't think I've seen anyone mention this, but Love Train (SPECIFICALLY D4C Love Train) is incredibly cheesy when it comes to bosses. By cheap extension, Chariot Requiem too. All NPCs can't do anything about counters, and "counters" like Love Train specifically last a *long* time with added upgrades. It's the same strategy as said in the video, but with added easiness. Just throw out LT/Your Own Shadow after the initial combo, and keep doing four M1s until either wear out. Using this with Hamon also adds on extra damage to Over Heaven DIO, so that's there, too. With Chariot, you can actually extend the initial combo by using all three barrages with Johnathan's Hamon to nearly ToD DIO.

Whitsnake can cheese both of them by taking their stand at the start and taking their stand after every parry if you don't wanna pilot (doing this cancels Part 6 jotaros combat precision)

If you still struggle with Heaven Ascended Dio, and you got no friends (average yba player), don't worry, pick hamon (joseph for his parry and block break buff) and ger, when you parry him use laser beam on the ground or summon green particles. 80 damage each and is ready every 12 seconds or something.

Or get skill then use KC/KCR with no specs and just time your Time Erase and jump when Heaven Ascended Dio time stops. Then time your Time Skip when Heaven Ascended Dio uses Heavenly Smite or just cancel it.

Hey Eclipse, the reason why you cant parry the beatdown is cuz he almost always uses a time skip before it; and his time skip has stun. No clue what genius was behind that one. But hey if anyone is still struggling either way this boss after the nerfs; just go kill 8 snowmans or do 100 kill trades

If I remember correctly, you can vividly see the stun if you use Time Erasure with King Crimson/KCR and jump in the air right when Jotaro or Dio will teleport to your location and you will see yourself stop in midair for a second because of the lag the game/NPC forces you to go through.

Or if you walk full speed you can also see yourself slow down like as if something stopped you even though you are invulnerable/intangible in the time erasure state

Guide for specifically the world boxing/jonathan hamon You can spec z, knives, 4 m1s, barrage, 5 m1s, wait til he uses plat slam (sometimes he skips slam) and then block then parry the barrage and ender, m1s, short barrage (for m1 extender) and kick barrage remember that he can randomly throw out plat slam which has hyperarmor and can potentially mess up some combos, and to avoid having your strong moves cancelled by skull crusher or beatdown also tip for jonathan hamon, 3/4 moves burn and npcs can't put out fire, and not only that, using jonathan x while jp6 is approaching with barrage can actually hit him and deal a LOT of burn dmg. and jonathan x, c, v is a good combo assuming he doesn't beatdown/plat slam you (this is easy to do just wait for him to use slam and have him above 50% or parry the bd) also remember that tanking the beatdown at high hp is completely fine remember that you road roller is a free ts escape along with stand jump due to low gravity, but dont get too high of ts resist as you can fall back down and eat a 30% ts remember that using the full barrage similar dmg to a full 5 m1s, and the knockdown can make timing the beatdown parry easier/your hyperarmor spec moves a free hit remember that rage exists since its a really big dmg and defense boost

A tip that i used since returning to YBA Heaven Bosses, is to use Jonathan Hamon. I've come to notice you use Boxing A LOT, and i can relate to that, since when i returned to the game this was the only fighting style i could comprehend, but let me tell you that Jonathan Hamon has similar moves to Boxing, while being tankier and dealing a little less damage. It also has 2 cheap passives, Increasing your HP and HP Regen and letting you passively deal 30% more damage to Undead Enemies (DIO OH COUNTS AS UNDEAD). Overall pretty fun spec to use, makes DIO OH a piece of cake and gives you more safety while fighting JP6 (if you're switching from boxing, rearranging Keybinds is recomended). Edit: you can obtain it by giving an Ancient Scroll to Lisa Lisa at the fountain near Prison Bridge, also you'll need pluck/a sword skin for some moves

A Strat to only make them both barrage and do nothing else after they summon their stand is to use any stand with chop parry barrage finisher 3 m1 liver shot chop 2 m1 barrage and repeat if you are fast enough you can block their barrage before they hit you

Heaven ascension DIO counts as a vampire meaning you can get a LOT of damage using hamon, you can kill him in around 20 seconds using D4C LT + William Hamon

iirc the reason Jotaro Part 6's beatdown is unparriable is because the "teleporting behind you" mechanic is copy pasted from Heaven Ascended Dio An interesting mechanic however is that if you used a cancellable, no end-lag move (like jawbreaker) just as he does the beatdown sequence, your jawbreaker cancels and you aren't stunned anymore, which means you can, by holding down block when you do jawbreaker, parry the beatdown ...but of course R + 180 spin is just infinitely less of a hassle to use

if you want easier you could use a stand that uses status effect e.g bleed, poison, fire to effectively widdle down their hp quicker and if you want super baby mode use vampire ofc because of counter, hp recovery, and if you get the upgrade a lazer that does fire dmg.

Did yall know you can use SC's million pricks if you farm with your friend to both get the rewards? Both the quest and the drops. If you farm with a friend he should first use millon pricks on the boss and the you have to deal the first hit, so you both get rewards for killing the boss. It has to be mentioned its really janky and inconsistent, and i suspect you both have to do around the same amount of dmg. Also, might work with more than 2 people, haven't checked.

I used to just use d4c love train to trap him in the parallel dimension. Heal. Go in. Attack. Leave. Repeat. Idk if it still works but that's the way I used to do it anyways. You probably should use the strats shown in this video because my method absolutely sucks. Super tedious and long. The only reason I used this method was because I sucked at the game.

The only indicator for Dio OH being less than half hp is when he starts to use healing and the RO punch but he uses those moves based off of rng so most of the times you just gotta predict it. Now do a remake of the Begginers guide. 🙃
