How to avoid a Eyes + Screech combo; If you ever die to eyes due to this, here's a way how to avoid this combo: When eyes spawns in a dark room, look at the direction of it but not directly at it, this makes screech always spawn behind you so you don't have to look at eyes when screech spawns.

Theres Also An A-90 and Eyes Combo A-90 when opening a door, A-90 And Eyes can spawn at the same time, if that happens you can't move your camera away from Eyes and you either die or take a lot of Damage no idea how to avoid that.

And eyes deals 10 damage every milisecond.But I did find this out, A-90 will appear on your screen for a second or 2 before actually attacking, so if you can quickly turn you camera, you can avoid both.

This was the easiest setup for me (on an iPad) if it interests anyone: 1. El Goblino’s Payday - No gold, whatever. 2. Out of Stuff - No rift or naturally generated tools. You don’t even need them in the greenhouse if you wait for lightning to find Snares, so I wouldn’t waste knobs either. 3. Soundproofing - No item jingling hints, just an inconvenience. 4. Locked and Loaded - Locks ~a third of the doors, just an inconvenience 5. Last Breath - Any damage from anything besides Timothy and Snare, which are thus powerless besides stunning you, is instantly fatal. Just watch the floor constantly around Eyes and when opening doors, and make sure to remember your door numbers. Remember that hiding despawns Screech. 6. Battle of Wits - Dupe spawns much more often and you can’t listen to the doors. This actually makes all 4-corner intersection rooms freebies, since they will always have 3 dupe doors instead of 2, which allows you to take the average of the numbers or the odd one out every time. You can try to camera behind doors and look for a black box representing Dupe if necessary. Overall, just count and your doors and you’ll be fine. 7. Roundabout - Halt is guaranteed at least one appearance, though by my experience it may spawn up to 4 times due to Really Bad Time. Halt is faster, so while backing up does occasionally work if you’re perfect with it, you should just turn around. The rotate symbol is also removed, so you have to turn around when you BOTH hear the static noise and see screen distortion. 8. Really Bad Time - Most entities spawn more frequently, which generally only annoys me in Eyes. 9. Rush Hour - Rush spawns more frequently, just don’t get impatient and speedrun multiple rooms at once without listening. Rush is triggered when a main door is opened, and will normally arrive within ~20 seconds. Take note of closet locations in case. 10. I’m Runnin’ Here - Rush moves faster, more of a convenience, really. 11. Back for Seconds - Ambush spawns much more often. You have ~3 seconds when you hear an air conditioner noise-just get in a locker, get out when it leaves, and get back in immediately in case of rebound, which can happen up to 4 times. You can normally take two rebounds before getting out, but it’s risky. 12. Afterimage - Ambush is faster, again, more of a convenience really, as it makes the rebounds take up less time. It took me like 7 hours of attempts, with each one but being ~an hour long, but I got it with practice, good luck! Edit: Rent’s due is currently bugged and roundabout was removed. Once rent’s due if fixed, roundabout may need to be replaced with come back here + I’m everywhere.

I've gotten hotel hell with this loadout, imo it was easier. Here's what I used: Bad Electrical Work. El Goblino's Payday. Less Stuff. Locked And Loaded. Rush Hour. I'm Runnin' Here. Back For Seconds. Afterimage. Roundabout. It Can Run Too. Gone Fishing. Really Bad Time. Tripped And Fell. Battle of Wits. Think Fast. For me this was way easier becuase you won't have any trouble with A-90 or Snare modifiers. Also I Choosed Less Stuff because it doesn't affect that much, also most of the attempts that I've made to get the badge gave me candles, so if you're lucky enough you won't have to worry in doors (90-99).Tripped And Fell modifier won't cause that major changes in the gameplay, you can recover your health by finding band aids in the drawers. Finally, Really Bad Time won't affect much, you'll just have to be careful when an entity arrives at each door.

Electrical work is better than bad electrical work because it is literally a freebie if you are solo without nowhere to hide snd on top of that rush won't make the rooms dark while bad electrical work doesn't have that advantage but also gives you more dark rooms and sometimes lights flickers without rush being and you stay next to a closet and continue once you know rush isn't there making it waste some time of your run

I have a question for A 90 do you have high ping? Because i noticed that if you have 100 ping A 90 will be harder for some reason while if you are under it he will be easier so you can check when entering a game the ping to see if you are in a bad server and restart if yes since this might be the reason why A 90 is hard for you or maybe it is just hard for you and there ok i understand

As roundabount has been removed for now you can use renta due and remove something like locked and loaded, you still get 150% mods but hide only attacks a bit fast and a run with take less time

i somehow did both hotel hell and not five stars on my first attempts.. they were kinda easy. here was my modifiers for hotel hell: - El Goblino's Payday - Bad Electrical Work - Soundproofing - Out of Stuff - Rush Hour - Really Bad Time - Always Watching - Itchy - It Can Run Too - Come Back Here - Afterimage - Back For Seconds - Stop Right There - Rent's Due edit: please know that if screech spawns, eyes will be blurred out and unable to damage you until either screech attacks or you stare at screech. this is really easy. you will have the guiding light lighting up stuff (really nice in dark rooms/key rooms/seek chase). you will also have rush not being modified too hard (it only spawns more. this is really useful in the 90s when rush is really deadly. just always camp.) ambush is really simple. just go in and go out. don't worry too much about hide as you will always have just a little bit more time to stay hidden. also, just never loot anything. (you also have 100 max hp which is nice and dupe is also going to be easy unlike other modifier combos that people give).

It can be annoying but can save ur run if u dont have light .

Personally i was using differenet combinations and was dying but when i tried this combination i beated hotel hell first try here it is My combination was El goblino payday Less stuff Tripped and fell Back for seconds Afterimage Stop right there ( A 90 clearly isn't an issue a lot of people die to him because of bad ping that's why you should check your ping if it higher than 100 it's better to restart the run into a new server and A 90 won't be an issue) Battle of wits Soundproofing Roundabout Rush hour I'm runnin here Electrical work Locked and loaded Ren'ts due Electrical work with i'm runnin here isn't an issue as long as you don't have the nowhere to hide and nowhere to hide anyways makes almost no closet making it way more difficult if you are solo it is even a help since rush don't turn off the lights and also afterimage is literally a help since with ren'ts due you need to time well for ambush so hide isn't an issue but with afterimage you don't even have to time as good as without it tripped and fell is better than last few breaths because you will have by far enough bandits to be no longer one shottable before room 50 and before greenhouse if you are duo you also have way more chances even with less stuff there is still enough and since there isn't out of stuff you can also find items by the way roudabout is easy the only difference halt spawns more no longer says turn around but there is his image that pops anyways and is faster but if you don't go backwards you are still faster than him Sounproofing is actually easier than glowing hints because all you gotta do is wait 3 minutes before entering room 50 and 100 so guiding light lights things up and that's the same beside that you have the light on correct door for seek chase and for lever in the dark huge basement room Bad time and really bad time is modifiers that i see a lot of people uses but when i got rid of them it made my runs easier because it is pretty much like the higher chances for an entity modifiers but here it is for every single one besides seek and figure making it way harder

Room For More: 7.5/10, same as the last one but even more annoying. Lighting: Electrical Work: 2.5/10, if you have ears this isn't terrible, but still annoying. (10%) Really Bad Time: This might seem like a terrible choice, but the only ones I really noticed this for were Screech, Rush, and Ambush. I guess you could say it's a guaranteed halt, but roundabout isn't on. Oh yeah and you can also replace this with room for more. (20%) Rush Hour: Womp, womp! (10%) I'm Runnin' Here: This is a convenience. (10%) Battle Of Wits: Counting!!! (15%) Nosey: Womp, womp! (5%) Come Back Here: Do I need to explain myself here? Here is a tip I learned for hotel hell I don’t have it yet but planning to grind 8 hrs today so here a tip that got me farther never do out of stuff it’s not a freebie as once out of stuff is placed it’s impossible to heal instead of out of stuff do less stuff then add itchy and think fast some KZbinr like do say just don’t take damage I have question how do you avoid Timothy? Usually in hotel hell itchy is a common mod to use so Timothy is common secondly if you are a expert at the rooms add A-90 mod if u rlly feel like your good at the rooms like very very good add all the rooms monsters. Try avoiding with my knees are killing me or tripped or last few breathes or even tripped and fell as those are prtty bad mods if you are a good listener / having headphones use bad electrical work so fake rush warnings can happen anyway gl

Chill that blud -It Can Run Too modifiers will be close to impossible if u dont have vitamin, and the second one will painful when u have to drink 2 vitamins to get it NEAR you after you done the race. Deadlier with Gone Fising - Rush Hour???? Rlly blud? Can you just use Elec Work instead of Rush Hour? you dont want out of stuff modifier because if u get damaged u cant get bandaids (replace with less stuff) you want to keep gone fishing too, only have soundproofing, you need guiding light to locate keys in dark rooms or the lever in the dark lever room, also you need key key key key because it might be slower but you wont have any health issues (dont have last few breaths) you wanna have im runnin' here because you will need rents due later on, you dont need nosey either, replace it can run too with come back here since figure shouldnt be a problem because he's only fast in door 50 (also you have to go for stop right there) also without nosey dont go for itchy because timothy can ruin ur run, instead go for injuries since you only go slow when damaged, (u can use vitamins in seek chase)this is the layout i used btw el goblinos payday (15%) less stuff (5%) Soundproofing (5%) Key key key key (15%) Injuries (5%) bad time (10%) Im runnin here (10%) Battle of witts (15%) Think fast (5%) (screech shouldnt be a problem) Come back here (5%) Back for seconds (10%) Afterimage (10%) Rents due (15%) Roundabout (10%) Stop right there (15%) I know i yapped alot but this should be the best method right now so i hope this helps

okay so i think i have the most straight forward strat (didn’t try it out, but it should technically work) so ill use following modifiers: Bad Electrical Work, El Goblino’s Payday, Out Of Stuff, Locked and Loaded, Nowhere To Hide, Last Breath, Rush Hour, Battle Of Wits, Itchy, Nosey, Come Back Here, Rent’s Due, Stop Right There, i’ll be using those modifiers because it doesn’t really affect enties as much and will decrease the chance of entity stacking at the Greenhouse, Rush could be a problem because he will come more often but i don’t want him to be faster so i’ll have enough time to hide and he’ll be more forgiving, Come Back Here isn’t an issue because i will buy vitamins at the beginning to prevent the possibility that the Figure might catch me at the end, Rents Due doesn’t make a real difference i think and stop right there is easy, you might ask why i don’t have Gone Fishing or Soundproof, it’s because it will be harder in the seek runs or in the figure places also i have itchy for extra % so i want the key noise so i don’t open all containers where timothy might be

Use Bad Electrical work, it will reduce the chance of Rush and Ambush spawning because they cannot spawn in dark rooms unless you are using Power Shortage or Lights Out.

Tbh, most of the stuff you chosen is good mods, yet there are plenty of mistakes. Firstly, wanna point out that you got urself 153%, instead of 150%. I don't understand why haven't you turn off some 5% mod to avoid this and make this easier, for example Think Fast. Now gotta quickly go through mods that I used, and explain why I think they are objectively better. - El Goblinos Payday - Out Of Stuff - Gone Fishing - Soundproofing - Locked And Loaded - Last Few Breaths - Rush Hour - Im Runnin' Here - Battle Of Wits - Think Fast - Nosey - Back For Seconds - Afterimage - Rent's Due - Roundabout Bad Time is unnecessary, I never found myself using it, and Ig for a reason. It Can Run Too speeds up Seek, and my main plan on mods was to not make bosses any harder cuz it will be pretty significant, yet this mod is a pretty good replacement for Think Fast, if you have troubles dealing with Screech. Stop Right There ( or Are Those Pancakes ) is not worth their 15%. A-90 might be really hard for some people, and can easily screw you on some important moments like Seek chase (if he can spawn there, cuz idk yet) and Figure rooms, which can be lethal. As for Snares, they spawn locations sucks most of the times, they can spawn behind doors, so by opening them you get unnecessary and unwanted damage, they might screw you on two main entities, and also extremely well paired with Halt, to end runs. Not a fan. Now, coming to my additions, we have Im Runnin' Here, which is an ez 10%, that imo everyone should use, its rlly not that hard, and you can get used to his speed quickly. Also it allows Rent's Due to be much easier, and in total, 25% for not that much, since you really dont need to stay in that closet that long.

There's a slightly(?) easier way for me to get hotel hell, I used: Electrical Work(10) El Golbino's Payday(15) Wear And Tear(5) Soundproofing(5) Tripped And Fell(10) Really Bad Time(20) Rush Hour(10) I'm Runnin' Here(10) Battle Of Wits(15) It Can Run Too(5) Back For Seconds(10) Afterimage(10) Roundabout(10) The last 15% depends on your playstyle, here's the choices: Key Key Key Key(15)/Locked And Loaded(10) Think Fast(5)/Think Faster(10) Nosey(5) Come Back Here(5) Rent's Due(15) From the base modifiers that total to 135%, you meet Rush/Ambush as frequent as every 2 rooms, and Rush always attack every 2 rooms in the Greenhouse. No gold, but you can use rift for crucifix if you need it since Out Of Stuff isn't used. While Out Of Stuff isn't used you can also use the drawers to get bandages to heal back.

Here're my modifier suggestions: El Goblino's Payday & Out Of Stuff (agree with the author) Gone Fishing & Soundproofing (agree with the author) I'll skip 3rd combo for now. Instead of "bad time", we can use "I'm Runnin' Here" so we don't have to wait rush for too long. Now, instead of "Locked And Loaded" we can use "itchy", since it's not that hard to deal with a little bit stronger Timothy, and instead of "Last Few Breathes" we can use "Rent's Due". You may think he will kick you out like the most hated guest, but no, he's just a little harder, not that much, and it still costs 15%. Battle Of Wits & Think Fast (agree with the author) Nosey & It Can Run Too (agree with the author). Back For Seconds & Afterimage (agree with the author) Since the "Roundabout" modifier got deleted, we can use "Watch Your Step" instead. It's even better that "Are Those Pancakes?!" because: 1. Snares don't always appear. 2. Their amount is 1-2. And "Stop Right There" on top of that. I can give some tips & lifehacks aswell: 1. Clocks can still appear in 49th and 50th room. 2. If you forget Dupe's number, stay next to a door, look at the wall, crouch and go forward. If you see black cube, It's wrong door, if you see some other stuff (like wood or the long room) then it means it's correct door. 3. Eyes can be your lighters sometimes.

It most likely depends on which entity you are best at countering. Your modifiers are good but I would personally find it annoying to do. Here's my picks with reasons: (I have got hotel hell with these) Electrical work (I don't think you'd need light flickers. Just if a room has a good amounts of closets, that's when you wait to see if rush is coming. Bonus point is that most rooms will have lights.) El goblino's payday (I don't think I need to explain) Soundproofing (It overall only makes the figure slightly harder because now items don't emit sound. But I won't give gone fishing because light helps you a lot especially. You can replace it with think fast if required.) Less stuffs: You most likely won't need items. (except bandages might be crucial that's why I don't recommend out of stuffs) Tripped and fell (Just find bandages and avoid getting killed in early game. Only affects early game) Key key key key (Because if you don't know, it's basically locked and loaded except locks normal rooms and few annoying more rooms. You can replace it with other modifiers if you don't have enough time. I noticed it kind of decreases spawn rate of rush and ambush) I'm runnin' here (makes rush faster.) Really bad time (I know this one's real annoying so you can replace it with something else if required) Nosey (This one is only gonna be issue in early game) Battle of wits (Since keys keys modifier is active, some room will make it obvious which door is real. If a key is near a door on the floor, that door is the real door) Afterimage (makes ambush faster, shouldn't be a problem) Rents due (Since rush and ambush is fast, this won't be a problem I assume) Stop right there (it won't most likely be a problem but it do can cause issues in door 100, I just suggest playing careful there with it)

Technically key key key well first for the less ambush spawnrate and rush well there isn't any confirmation in any source or people saying it so it is probably just that you had a better luck with them a run with key key will always be a waste because while it's only a 5% increase to locked and loaded with loacked and loaded like 30% of rooms are locked but with key key all of them are locked beside seek chase making the run way way longer and making tries way longer and you could also remove nosey and you would replace that 10% with back for seconds making ambush more often which being one of the easiest entities shouldn't be a problem unless you are new to the game but then if you are new to the game you shouldn't try to get hotel hell. So just with ambush spawning more frequently you will not only gain a ton of time per runs but also have less eyes And for the rest it is pretty much the same loadout that i beated with hotel hell besided that personally i would do bad time instead of really bad time to add rush hour which is almost a freebie modifier instead you will just have more rushes which is one of the easiest entities but in exchange have less entities spawning in general

You do need to consider the fact that I had "Really bad time" modifier active which makes entities spawn very very frequent(making them spawn as early as possible which was annoying as hell). And back for second's problem is combining with really bad time modifier makes it so that it unintentionally spawns on a room it shouldn't be in or sometime no closets room(not sure if it's a bug). Same for rush hour so it was basically making my runs dead. That's why I tried avoiding those modifiers. keys keys keys makes long locked rooms spawn more frequent (which is a time wasting true) and entities like rush and ambush can't spawn on those rooms(unless something happens where they sometime do. Normally wouldn't if back for seconds and rush hour isn't active), making them less frequent (and it's true. Makes them as late as 8 doors per rush/ambush). The reason you'd really bother using keys keys is to make the next door obvious. Keys keys makes some rooms with dupe obvious like if a key is near to a door in the floor, it's guaranteed it's the real door. You'd bother for that is because battle of wits will be active (in my modifier list). And also it will make sure you really don't forget what door you're in (of course if you're paying attention). And the reason you want nosey is because despite being both nosey and really bad time active, eyes spawns really really less frequent (might spawn more on greenhouse though). The only reason I'd bother using really bad time instead of bad time is because it's free 10% and acts like bad time with above mentioned modifiers. Of course some modifiers are good depending on what you combine it with so that's why I said it depends. Because in your case if you used bad time and rush hour or back for seconds, the problem I mentioned won't happen. But again since I am not using them really bad modifier is free 10% more.

I’d go for no where to hide as it adds an not much if you’re doing solo, maybe just an RNG, but shouldn’t affect you too much, you don’t even need one of the 5% modifiers, so you can choose which one of them you want to remove, I might have a slightly different modifier chart so you could fill in the blank

I don’t really like this composition personally. Having no clue at doors 100 can be really annoying and having no stuff require that you know a lot how the rng in doors work. You don’t have the guiding light and having more difficult dupe is not a good idea if he spawns in a dark room. And the worst is with that combo, you can have a lot of rush at the greeenhouse and without light it can be hard for beginners. Last few breath with out of stuff is not a good combo because you just have literally 1hp the hole run. That’s just my personal opinion
