What to install some mods? This is the video for you. I'll show you how to easily install mods for Monster Hunter World Iceborne.
With this method, when you want to uninstall a mod, you don't need to manually search for what files to delete, the mod manager will do it for you.
NEEDED FILES:
Stracker's Loader
Performance Booster and Plugin Extender
MHW Mod Manager
Capcom has started giving copyright strikes to videos related to mods. In an attempt to escape this, I'm going to remove all links to the mods. This may not work, but I'll try anyway. Thanks for the tutorial, Capcom just patched the game after three years and broke a bunch of stuff, including mods. I never felt the need to use the mod manager but now that some mods are broken it will help with uninstalling the ones with problems.

So the mods are working and this is an amazing guide but i do have a question, in the mod manager some mods have the status "Partial" is that a bad thing or is it okay to load up as usual?

That usually means that some files of that mod are not installed (probably because some other mod changes those same files). If you right click it and install it again, it should fix it.

Thanks for the really great guide! Is there any risks for corruption of game save file while installing mods? Also, how does one uninstall downloaded mods?

Thank you for watching! The chance to corrupt your save file is not zero, there's a chance that it might happen, so I recommend you backup your save from time to time. With that been said, I've been modding my game for 5+ years and I've never lost my save (I still make backups tho). If you use the Mod Manager, you right click a mod and uninstall it. You can also uninstall and delete. If you want to delete every single mod, just delete the NativePC folder in your games directory and it's done, your game is clean from every mod.

No, other players won't see the changes, unless they also have the mod installed and no, you won't get banned. I wouldn't help people with this if there was a slight risk of people getting banned. Have fun! :))

Hi, I noticed that Fluffy Manager has an update for MHWorld which is very good because its very plain and simple to use as I have experience in MHRise/Sunbreak. Question, will MHW Mod files will work on Fluffy manager? Rise was my first game to play on PC and as for World was on PS4 now I have World on my pc I just hope that applying mod is easy like Fluffy.

I didn't even notice that Fluffy added support for World, I just checked it and you're right. Since I didn't know, I'm not sure how it works but it should be similar to Rise.

If you go back a bit you can see that I extracted the rar file. You need something like 7zip or winrar to do that :))

Ive played this back in 2017-2018 on xbox before my progress got coruppted so does monster hunter world: iceborne still have that saved file bug on PC where your progress and character just vanishes and gets corrupted? If it still does can you make a tutorial on how to back up save your files?

Just a quick question, the mods installed fine, however when re-opening Mod Manager, the mod list is gone so I can't select them to easily uninstall. I've checked the directory etc. The mods do still work, but I have to manually uninstall them. Any idea how to fix this? Cheers for the guide, very handy.

Hey, yeah I extracted it into a folder but figured out what happened. Somehow during extraction/setup I ended up with the ModCache folder elsewhere. Redid the steps and it worked. Instead of dragging the mods into ModManager I just placed them into the ModCache folder and it adds them to the list from there. Thanks again for the video and the reply!@@umidafuk

You add a shelf in your library, choose a shelf (like All games or favorites) and then sort by "Size on Disk"

after digging through comments i couldn't find an answer. When i drag the zip file into the mod manager it will install succefully but the mods won't work. I noticed when i dragged a mod a folder appears on my desktop called modmanager data and i saw all the mods were installed on there. That folder will be created in the location of the mod manager exe. Do you have a nativepc folder in your games directory? You can also join our discord server, it'll be better and faster for me to help you there :))

That mean you have two mods trying to replace the same files, conflicting with one another, you need to choose one of those mods to replace the file.

No, Windows merges both nativePC folders together, it doesnt replace anything, unless the files inside have the same name.

Hunterpie is not a mod, it’s more of a tool. You just need to extract it somewhere, run the app and you’re good to go.

Hey man, I want to match my PS progression which I put 1.3k+ hours, 100%, and MR 999/HR 999 legitimately to my PC save because MHWI is on sale. Is there a way to get the exact number of Zenny, # per certain item, total of monsters I hunted, all gold crowns, and etc? 99% of them. There’s a few that need to be installed like Stracker’s and some where the mod author messed up with the directories, but they are really rare and most mods can be installed with the mod manager. If you find any mod that falls on that 1%, and you’re finding problems install it them, join our discord server and I’ll help you out.

Yes, you can, but you might not be able to see some mods because they alter things in the iceborne side of things.

No need to do that. You might want to backup your save manually once in a while tho. And other players won’t see your visual mods, unless they also have them installed.

If you can't drag this into the mod manager, unfortunately I don't have a fix for it. I've seen some people with that problem but I don't know a fix for it. If the problem persists, you'll have to install mods manually. (Copy paste each mod NativePC folder in your games directory, where you find the games exe)

You need to extract the rar file with 7zip or winrar, like shown in the video.

That’s normal. The zip files go to mods cache and when you install them, the mod manager moves the files to the right places.

@@jacob1313able Stracker's is necessary for most mods, it makes the nativePC folder useable. That's where you will put your mods, and Stracker's is what allows the game to recognize them. However, you don't need an actual mod manager if you want to download mods manually, extracting them into the nativePC folder.

Hi whenever I load up my game the strackers loader doesnt start up and as a result none of the mods load that are in the mod manager, do you have an idea as to why this is happening?

I recommend you join our discord server. It's easier to help you there, but when installing mods, make sure you are dragging the zip files of the mods, don't extract them.

When i dragged them from WinRar over to Mod Manager its doesnt show the mod in Mod Manager. Everything stays blank. My Game Directory is the same as yours and i have Stackers loaded as well. I can make mods work manually but Mod Manager doesnt do anything...

You don’t drag mods from winrar to the mod manager, you drag the zip files to the mod manager
