Tried this out today and it worked great. The sap spots were over 2 weeks old (work and a lot of rain prevented me from doing it sooner). I took a few applications on some of the spots, but they came right out with no swirl marks and minimal effort. Thank you guys for this tip, it saved me a lot of work and potentially a lot of damage to my new car!

I have a 2022 Toyota Tacoma and already got a sap splotch on the hood. I came onto KZbin to find the best way to remove sap and came across your video. As usual I was skeptical because you made it look TOO easy. Well I can now confirm, 100%, it IS that easy. The sap just disappeared after a light wiping. I will swear by chemical brothers products from now on. I previously purchased your leather cleaner / conditioner and not only was I amazed by the easy of use, the condition of the leather, the staying power(not fading after a day), but the amazing leather scent. Chemical brothers are gods of automotive products.

This didn't work well for me. My niece left her car at my house and I figured I would give it a good detail. In fairness, she had sap on her car that was probably baked on for years. I ended up using acetone nail polish remover. That worked well with a little elbow grease. Later, I tackled some of the chunkier sap with a plastic razor in combination with the nail polisher remover. Worked like a champ. Butter wet wax is a great wax product, though.
