Now I'm 76 and never had a car key with a battery. A friend has lost her key fob but still has the 'valet key'. It has a black plastic base and a small hole to push out a small part. This small part has a very small 'cube' in it. It opens doors but won't start engine. Does she need a new key to start engine ? Can she re-program it herself ? Any help appreciated ! Thanks
