Literally the best tutorial anyone can make. Simple and to the point. Thank you!

Very helpful video. You didn’t presume the viewer knows the basics. Good work.

Thanks, just ordered this stock furniture now that prices are normalizing on it. I am building an imitation of the discontinued SPS Superslug. EDIT: If you are going to shoot stout loads like slugs with this stock, then make sure to FILL IT with something first, like expanding foam or even just a bunch of BB's or plastic bags. The hollow stock greatly AMPLIFIES FELT RECOILl!!!

can you do mine next? changing from plastic to wood
@uofmrebel3 жыл бұрын
Removing the forend and putting it back in can sometimes be a pain. They should just slide in and out easily, but I couldn't get mine back in. Even the gunsmith had problems getting it back in. Not sure what was wrong with it. Must have had a bur or something either on the bolt or the bars.

Would you sell your wood stock and forend

my stock bolt required an impact driver to loosen, and Remington putting a flat head screwdriver fitting on the bolt is bullshit

Nah sorry! One range I go to doesn't allow my pistol grip stock so I still switch back and forth.

Hey, I’m wondering if there’s any compatible stocks and forends for the older wingmasters?
@beatnikoutdoors91804 жыл бұрын
I think most all of the Remington 870 stocks online should fit the older wingmasters, but double check me before you buy one. The wingmasters stocks are higher quality than the express stock too so hold onto it!

Beatnik Outdoors thanks! I was also wondering something else. So the rails that come off of the forend and into the receiver (sorry if I’m wrong on parts, just got my shotgun as first firearm) is there only supposed to be one hole for the rail on the left? On the right there isn’t? If you can’t get what I mean can you add me on Facebook or something and I can show you? Thanks for the help and fast response!

Castle nut. Factory 870 but will NOT budge. Even with muscle. The stock was easy easy. The forend will not move. Not even with the installation tool

Bummer! I really like mine. The process of removing and adding the stock should be pretty similar for other stocks as well.
