How To Easily Replace Your BMW E90 Window Regulator

The easiest way to remove & replace the window regulator / mechanism on the BMW E9X chassis. In this case, it's the right rear regulator, the installation process will work for all windows. Fronts are essentially the same albeit with a double channel due to the length and stability of the window itself

Super helpful video, thanks. Easily changed mine out and saved a lot of money. Only issue I'm still having is the window reset. It goes down automatically but if it goes up auto when it hits the top it rolls back down half way? And when I slowly go up it stays but if I try to hold it for the 15 sec it does the same and rolls down again. Any ideas?

Its probably triggering the anti trap... You will probably need to have the car relearn the stop points. I'm not sure how its done manually, i only know via a diagnostic tool🙏🏽

i have a specific issue and i wanna see if anyone else has experienced it before recently snow got into my driver side master switch and killed 3/4 windows. The driver side and both rear passenger,my front passenger still works from the passenger side. but all the other ones are stuck up. any suggestions? ive replaced the master switch it didnt help, i also went ahead and changed the fuses too. Any insights? (2008 bmw 328xi prelci) thank you.

Hey bro! I've got the same car, M47D20, automatic car. Do you know why when I stop pushing the gas pedal and my BM starts slowing down the revs turn crazy???? it usually happens in 3-4-5 Gear, in between 1.000-1.500rpm, it's crazy, thank you

From experience, That is a boost leak / incorrect air/fuel ratio. the intake system has an air leak which is not allowing the motor to create the vacuum that it needs to run correctly. as such the air to fuel ratio is out and will cause the erratic rev pattern when you're off throttle

Highly recommended to get it attended to ASAP... the vehicle will be back at full power and fuel economy will be brought to normal... in its current state, the car will have a higher fuel consumption and lower power output
