Here's how to farm golden scarabs in New World. If you're looking to farm golden scarabs you should include this golden scarab farm route in your daily run. In New World golden scarabs will allow you to craft BIS items easily.

I crafted all 5 pieces of chitin armor with luck perk. All 5 pieces came out with STR/CON…I literally have the perfect luck gear set lol I tried selling it but no one made offers so I kept it and am using it for chests farms

that acid will kill and hurt bad, almost cant loot some chests without either the tincture or padding.

I thought they took elite ancient chests out of the drop pool for the scarab? The data base shows the scarab dropping in glyph and elite grave offering chests

I personally just dropped 3 scrabs Vs nothing yesterday from Sulfur chests (Va elite and gliph chests). So, i would say they do drop it

The Sulfur chests have a 7% no luck and 7.41% with luck for golden scarab. Elite have 4% no luck and 4.24% with luck. Glyph have 2% no luck 2.12% with luck. Sulfur chests are you best bet but lower chances with the other chests but still worth just incase u do get one. I got 2 golden scarab back to back with glyph chests.

click on the marker icon on the left side and there should be a bunch of filters you can click on to hide the other things showing on the map

Try doing this right when you log on. Seems to improve luck for some reason. No scarabs for me if I do it after logging on for awhile. 4 days now same thing.

They have 100% changed drop rate I recon. On first few days I was getting 3-5 a day, last 3 days none.

They have 100% not changed. I don't know how many or what chests you are looting but you should average around 2 a day. I didn't get any one day but that doesn't mean they've changed.

1st u need to have tier5 azoth, afterthat u can start main quest brim. After the brim quest already done. U have like 10 glyph. U can get other glyph from sidequest, unlock it on elite zone n just random place. U need to watch guide to get all. That really confuse if u not watch guide to get it. Like some glyph in middle dessert and 1 glyph on cave.

Have a feeling this drop rate will be nerfed it’s a easy BiS and right now I get 2 a day easy just on the 20ish sulfur chests…. Also you will be able to combine 10 of them into a “Omega scarab” in the future and do god knows what with it… probably 3 perks? I’m holding on to mine… 9k is tempting but I think it will be a easy 20 maybe 50k if it gets nerfed… omega scarabs in the 100ks

You do not need luck. If you have max luck the drop chance increase is almost unnoticeable

It's not mean to affected by luck, this is to protect the drop rate. Luck is only for things like named items and trophy materials.
