Great vid dude! I ran it blind solo last night and loved everything about it, even more than GoA and ST. Especially the skyrim/D&D vibes. That's my ideal Destiny experience if I'm being honest. I have to say the damage phases on the first boss might be short, but I appreciated the hell out of the fact that the cycle to the next phase is super short too. It made for perfect pacing and kept me very entertained, unlike the kind of boss that we usually see with high health, short damage windows, and a complex or lengthy cycle to the next damage phase. Even if I died more times than I care to admit because I couldn't see the 3rd turret when in the cages, it was still a blast! I ended up doing my solo with arc warlock last night after trying stasis for fun, and then void bec it just wasn't working how I wanted, then I kept getting melee'd in the back during damage phases on the first boss, probably because I just didn't want to put on a sword. I put on arc and whichever fragment it is that releases a shockwave when at critical health and never had a problem with it again. Not to mention ikelos smg and grand overture are just monstrous weapons.

Just got my solo flawless done last night. Just under 2 hours. On warlock. Strand for the first two encounters, solar for the last. You offered some great tips and motivation. Cheers mate

Kindling trigger can be a little bad on warlock, since you want enemies to be unscorched when you use your melee, so that the ignition counts as melee damage for sun racers.

I wonder if parasite would be good for the first 3 floors then a swap to rocket and pick up heavy ammo bricks before jumping up for long damage phase

That’s not a bad strat at all! Swap to dragons breath. I love it! Just need good ammo RNG or a lot of patience haha

I found that Arc Hunter isn’t super consistent because the Scorn shields can block your punch but still receive jolt so the low level adds tend to die w/o giving invis

Yeah I tried the standard Liars handshake build on the first encounter and just got super frustrated with the dumbass little shields. Had to switch to Solar Hunter because I can throw knives at their feet for the invis.

I was having trouble transferring the hex debuff during the boss fight. Would repeatedly punch the corrupted hex drinker scorn and it would not transfer the hex. Does anyone have advice on this?

Gonna try this tomorrow. Usually run Tommys Matchbook or Sunshot with Battle Harmony; might try that combo out first. But good to see a.. honestly feasable looking dungeon to solo. Im not that good in dungeons, but I feel confident about this one.

That build works on basically everything. It’s a great candidate for swapping too. Throw your Star-Eater Blade Barrage/Celestial Golden Gun, then swap to a Lucky Pants loadout and keep the big DEEPS flowing.

CORRECTION: In the prison there are 6 total rotations. So if there is a 5, as you saw, then that means 5 clockwise and 1 anti-clockwise. This is in fact what you did, but not what you said. ;-)

No, it goes on forever. You can even jump down to the lower platform (where you rally) and make your back up the levels to a safer spot and shoot him from a distance with something like Polaris Lance (see Esoterikks Master solo run)

Certain enhanced perks don't do much. And harrowed has 2 perks per slot which I like.

Not a huge difference. If you get roughly the roll you want enhanced Explosive Payload will give you 5 more reload. The trade off is all the enhanced perks you can choose from… +10 reload… massive mag… Big Ones… etc… Weapons almost don’t even matter outside of DPS so it doesn’t matter.

Empyrean pretty much cancels out the effects of Solace.

Trust me you want solace because it is more forgiving. Gives your healing grenade a longer timer. Helps to stay alive for flawless

I hate these videos first of all it’s impossible to easily beat this if you’re on anything but a $5000 PC. Amount of glitches issues the fact that the guy doesn’t spawn his balls consistently or all the sudden goes into this tirade of shooting 5 million damage with one solar shotgun, kills you or the fact that the balls that create all that liquid just disappear and you can’t do anything about it there’s so many problems with this dungeon it’s so frustrating when people put videos up like this.!!

combustion is useless in boss damage, ashes is so much more needed with scorch, dont trust bungo you must be blind to not see when you shoot with weapon with incandescent vs just solar weapon how adds explode. still i cant tell difference between ashes, char, eruptions, like it doesnt help. ashes and char or ashes and eruptions have same effect. next syntocepts on solar? it doesnt help at all, it was for strand and one2punch and was nerfed. with solar its more for armamentarium on everything, precious scars to heal yourself with solar kills or burning steps for 4x solar surge. cataclysmic is total fail on ogre as you must run between 4 points every 10s so you will not trigger much 4charm same as bait, especially when adds shoot your back and you need to throw healing grenade
