Today’s how-to hair tutorial is a cute + easy braided ponytail with a scarf! This hairstyle is so unique yet simple, and the added detail of the scarf makes it perfect for summer. I came across this braided pony-tail on Pinterest and I knew right away I wanted to share how to easily create it on yourself. This hairstyle is perfect for medium - long hair lengths, but can also be recreated on shorter hair but I would recommend using a thiner, longer scarf or a ribbon instead.

In Mexico we wear scarfs, ribbons, or some type of fabric in our braids. Not spreading hate or anytime just spreading cultural information. This is beautiful ❤️

I was playing with my hair the other day and find that I really like wearing mine with ribbons/fabrics, so I'm here looking for other hairstyles. Do you think it would be cultural appropriation if someone else would do this? I'm not mexican, I'm Filipino. I just really like adorning my hair with ribbons and flowers cos it's pretty :D but i dont want to offend or anything

@@tiatortilla not really, because the colours of our ribbons symbolize something to us. Like it depends on the family we do family colours. Or the scarfs will have our indigenous symbols/prints.
