That is so pretty u did a awesome job. How do you braid going upward in the back ? It’s so hard for me to do so, so I would just twist it if I was doing a style on my hair.

Latisha Latta thanks queen! Honestly I learned how to braid upwards in high school by braiding my hair in a beehive for sew in installs. I learned how to add hair by just practicing. The more you do it the easier it gets.

Hopefully I can do the upwards braid as well as you, have been scared to try but don't like going to the salon because they braid too tight. The hair is a great way to get color without dying my hair.

Janice Michelle def try on a day when you have some time (maybe on a Friday so you have the weekend just in case) bc it may take a little patience. Its def possible to master. I feel you frfr on salon visits too. I am always reluctant to letting people braid my hair bc sometimes that extra grip is damaging and unnecessary.

Looks so good! But I’m so bad at braiding.. How many hours did you spend doing this hairstyle?

amandakamara It took me a while. I split it into 2 days bc I took very frequent breaks (i have twin 2 year olds). I would say total it took about 6 hours. I did the cornrows day 1 and braided the ends day 2. It def woulda been quicker if I was doing someone else’s or if I was uninterrupted.
