You did a great job straddling the line between too basic and too in-depth. I think the biggest hurdle to tackling some technical challenges is not being able to put a name to them, and you provide the basics to let someone research problems on their own if they want to expand their editing skills. Can't wait to see new footage on new gear!

Great video showing GoPro adjustments for coloring in snow conditions. Also like seeing the speed adjust, something you see in a lot of videos, but not how it is done in editing. It would be nice to see a few of these behind the scenes videos mixed in with your ski videos. Or, perhaps a series for the next off season.

This helped a lot thanks . One thing I've been trying figure out is when doing the slow motion if it has audio to that doesn't slow down with it. I get it's kinda the same way. The video extends when doing slow mo but the audio doesn't so they're not lined up. Any insight appreciated.

As someone who has done a lot of music production and audio engineering, id love to see how you edit your audio. Do you normalize, apply limiters, or compress the audio files, so they are all the same volume level. Eqing, panning, etc.? One thing i have learned over the years to make things a lot quicker, is making files i call "def" aka default arrangements. These files are save files of previous completed projects, that have all your setting already applied, so you can spend less time applying the same effects over and over on each project. It is similar to the "filter" presets you make, but of the entire project. Just open "def" and replace the old segment with the new clips, and then tweak as necessary. Say you want to ad a slow mo sections, you throw your new clip into the old slow mo layer, instead of having to drop both markers, adjust speed, and adjust their location, you just adjust their location. Might make things a little quicker if your not already doing this.

hey man! thanks for watching and so cool you've done a lot of audio engineering. i do very limited audio processing on my videos in adobe audition. the only thing i do is normalize all of the audio so nothing is too loud or quiet and then apply limiters so nothing is peaking and then thats it. for my voiceover stuff, ill add a simple EQ just to boost everything a bit, but im not too experienced in audio past that haha. and referring to your def files, i have a template that i use exactly like youre saying and then just change it for each individual project. i only started doing it recently, but man its been such a time saver. thanks for taking the time to chat!

I found that it’s smoother to slow footage on the original 4k 240fps video then drag that portion to your 1080 preset rather than slow down your footage after you covert from 4k to 1080 at 24fps Could all be in my head but my logo is you are slowing down a 24fps video as it assumes the properties of the preset Lmk if I’m crazy

Im Having trouble figuring out a problem Im having and don't know if its on the GoPro end of things or Premier side. Lets say I record a 10 minute clips when I got to import into Premier its breaks it up into 5 minute clips. I mean yeah I can nest them but when you got multiple 30 or 40 minutes clips it becomes a pain in the end. Anyway to fix this?

Any idea how to export h265 videos in Premier pro ? Because i have Gopro 11 black videos what is h265 HEVC and doesnt matter what kind of format i try to export the video its always doesnt work. The exported video black and only audio or the exported video file size 24kb what is like nothing or the video size 47 GB when the source video is 1.5 GB or the exported video like in slow motion and dunno why. Any idea what can be the problem ? My source video is 1.5GB 2700x1504 resolution 60 FPS H265 HEVC format since Gopro 11 black videos always like this format only.

In the quick montage towards the end, one of the shots is a slow motion MAX clip. Can you explain how you slowed that clip down if it only shoots 30fps in 360 mode?

Hi, Great video! I have a question though. Every time I'm viewing Hero 10 footage on my Mac it starts to bug. It works with VLC but not with Quicktime and not with Premiere Pro either, whatever Codec I use. I can view clips once, but when I try speeding through the timeline or replaying the footage it blocks to a frame or a black screen. Even when the footage is in 1080, 30fps. Have you ever had a similar problem? do you know how to fix it? Thank you!

Premiere Pro cc -Hero 10 Rendering Issue was caused by incorrect Sequence Setting - Rendering Error: Exporter returned bad result. Exporter: AVI, Selector 17, Error 19. - Record settings were correct - Video Preview settings were incorrect - Changed format from AVI to GoPro CineForm (YUV 10-bit) - Hero 10 videos now correctly render and export
