The amount of actual production that goes into this making this tutorial is significant. First time visitor to your channel, and I'm seriously impressed. Highly professional...impressive level of expertise...delivery and pace of your presentation is excellent. Thanks for taking the time and doing what you do so that folks like us can glean those nuggets of greatness. 🖼️

Wow. I could have used this when I was just learning to shoot against backgrounds. I did a LOT of cloning! This is so much cleaner and easier! Once again, you've made it easy to do something that looks professional and time consuming! Thanks, Pye!!

I've taken a number of shots in studio with white background and had to crop real tight to get rid of light stands/end of background showing etc and always wondered how to sort it without cropping or trying to 'clone' parts out and giving up because I just couldn't get it to look great at all. This video you've shared is fantastic and makes me want to go back to those previous images and rework them now! Thanks for the great tutorial!!

wonderful presentation. How could i then isolate the back drop and convert the whole area to a neutral 110 for all colors?

What a great presentation, calm voice. The end result is wow. I can't believe there is more that can be done to the image. I would hang that on my wall

Thank you for the video. There seems to be an area along the inner part of the subject's inner right leg that is much whiter than the surrounding background. Is it my monitor or did it not get corrected?

Great video. I've spent the last few years really learning Lightroom but haven't really gotten into Photoshop. More photography based Photoshop tutorials like this would be great. There are no shortage of extreme Photoshop tutorials but this was subtle and effective.

I love your content so much! Would love to know how can you get similar results in a small studio 😅I’ve tried several times but the lights just don’t do it for me! Light it’s bouncing everywhere and fills in all the nice shadows and all I get it’s a flat image 😢

Great tutorial, Pye! The nature of your work requires use of modern digital cameras for rapid workflow and it is economical once you own the camera. Out of curiosity, do you ever shoot using film? Film has had a resurgence in popularity and I am curious about your thoughts on the medium.

Thanks for another excellent video. That weird grain bug in LR is another reason why I've moved away from that application. Especially for Canon shooters, for whom LR doesn't render colors very well, Capture One is far superior. Also, you don't have to do your raw processing in LR, even if you're going to later use Photoshop. You can use any raw processor, whether Adobe or not, and still use Photoshop.

Is it possible to sharpen a blurred image in Photoshop, if so how can this be achieved? (Say for example the background is sharp but your subject in the foreground is blurred)
@doen.87242 жыл бұрын
Depending on how severe the blur is, of course. But I just bought Topaz Labs's Photo AI software. Love it. They also have another software dedicated to sharpening images. That one seemed like overkill for my purposes, but you might find it useful.

I don’t think LRC likes Canon raw files. So much quicker to edit the Canon jpegs for a good result. Life is too short for LRC and Canon raw files. Thanks for this tutorial,although I try to avoid photoshop, it is hard not to appreciate the tools it provides
