I gave Filmora a try. It was such a waste of time. Davinci Resolve is so much better and absolutely free.

They are two different tools. The first one is a simple one for people who just want to make a quick clip for their family or friends, while the latter one is for more professional work. It's like recommending Photoshop to someone who just want to do some basic lines and rectangles (which you can do with e.g. Microsoft Paint).

Well in fact I was initially just searching for a free tool to turn some clips into a video but there was no mentioning of a watermark at all until it was too late. I'm not critisizing Filmora itself. If people want to use it let them be. But I hate being mislead by marketing tricks and moreover I just hate watermarks. So I watched some tutorials about Davinci Resolve and after all it is not so complicated as it first seemed. Last Saturday I taught about 15 teenagers how Davinci Resolve works... they were fascinated by the results. Filmora is stalling itself by not offering free software.

There's key where it removes the watermark. You click register (turn the wifi off first) and sign in here's a key. Hey Dude why are you promoting that garbage software called Filmora? Its total garbage. This garbage was not intelligently designed. Just recently I did a small movie trailer so I found another clip that I wanted to insert and before I know it half of my stuff just disappeared. Plus everything goes out of sync once you make an adjustment. Just imagine you wrote a letter in word and then a few days later you did some tweeking and when you check the entire rest of the body is gone. Well this is my constant frustration with this garbage Filmora. Do not buy Filmora.

My problem with Filmora is (ver 8)s I made a picture slide show from many events and put text into THE OPENER text credits section to separate each event, all was good but when I went back and added pictures the text didn't stay with the Opener background section it moved on the timeline and by the time I noticed it the whole text graphics was way off. Good content but I have some suggestions. 1) Talk slower 2) Add something so we can better see what you're clicking each time, like a red circle or something. 3) Make another version for someone who literally never used an editor before that goes more into depth about what's there and what each icon means. Even with these suggestions, I thought this was the best overview I've seen so far, keep it up. Ads interrupting my concentration when watching was annoying, but I guess you need to make money, so I understand.
